Did you remove the matte coating?

I was turned off by the dull matte inner display. Specially owning a 18 Pro Max and seeing the outer display on the duo. I want to get one but I am hesitant about removing the matte coating... I'm curious... How many of you Duo Owners did it and do you regret it?
