Here’s our sixth gallery of photos from David Whealon’s coverage of the NHRA Nationals at the Rock! We’re starting off with the kings of the heap, the nitro categories, where you can almost smell the nitro. Rockingham Dragway, aka The Rock, is one of the countries more iconic race tracks and after joining the NHRA in 2015 it would be 11 years before an NHRA National Event was held there. That’s right, these are photos from NHRA’s first Mission Drag Racing event ever heald at The Rock. The fans loved it, racers loved it, and we love the photos, so check them all out below.
