Ric Flair Accuses Agent Of Stealing $150,000 When Flair Was ‘Dying’

An agent of Ric Flair attempted to steal $150,000 and much more from the WWE legend, according to the 16-time World Champion. Speaking to News Nation, Flair spoke about his 2017 hospitalization and the belief many shared that he was going to die. Flair claimed that his agents tried to steal whatever they could when they thought he was dying, believing that anything he kept would go to others in his will. He wrote, “My agents stole all my stuff, because they knew once I died… I had a 5% chance to live. And they all knew that when I died, that would go into my will. They wouldn’t be able to get it. So they stole it. One agent stole $150,000.” Flair added that only he and The Rock own their pro wrestling IP, and that his agents tried to get his then-wife Wendy to sign over his assets on his behalf. He said, “I’m one of two wrestlers who owns his own intellectual property. They were trying to heist my… I won’t say who; they were trying to get Wendy to sign my intellectual property over to him. I found out the hard way.” Flair survived his health issues in 2017. He would go on to wrestle his final match at the ‘Ric Flair’s Last Match’ event in July 2022.
