Heads Up There Will be NO Yellow Line Metro Service this Weekend

photo by Erinn Shirley From WMATA: “Impacted service, Saturday, Sept. 26 and Sunday, Sept. 27 Yellow Line – No rail service No service due to planned track work. Silver Line – Modified service Trains run only between Ashburn and New Carrollton. Blue Line – Modified service Trains run between Downtown Largo and Franconia-Springfield / Huntington (alternating). Although there will be increased frequency of service on the Blue Line, this alternative takes longer in travel time (in comparison to the Yellow Line). Expect 6 minutes between trains, Downtown Largo to King St-Old Town. Expect 12 minutes between trains, King St-Old Town to Franconia-Springfield / Huntington (alternating).”
