Governor Orders Flags at Half-Staff for Former Flagler Beach Mayor Alice Baker on Remembrance Day

Gov. Ron DeSantis has ordered the American and Florida flags to be flown at half-staff at the State Capitol and in Flagler Beach Saturday in honor of Alice Baker, the former Flagler Beach mayor. Baker died on July 15 at her home in Georgia. She was 95. The honor coincides with Saturday’s Alice Baker Remembrance Day organized by former City Commissioner Jane Mealy at the Flagler Woman's Club in Flagler Beach.
