North Texas man killed, 2 still missing after Grand Canyon flash flood

John Giusti, a man from Granbury who was hiking in the Grand Canyon when flash flooding struck on Aug. 29, was killed in the floods, a spokesperson for his family confirmed. His friends, Tim Smith and Brent Rosenkranz, are among roughly 15 people still missing as of Aug. 31.
