It's similar to the Keres, and it can transpose to the open Sicilians if white plays d4, or to the closed Sicilians if white plays the normal system moves, g3, Bg2, and so on.But there are unique ideas provided by this move order, and ways to enter slightly favorable versions of the main lines.
