Lausanne to host 2028 World Championships weeks before LA Olympics

Lausanne will host the 2028 World Judo Championships, placing Switzerland at the centre of international judo only weeks before the Los Angeles Olympic Games. The agreement was signed on Saturday during the inaugural Ecole Mont-Olivet Lausanne Grand Slam, turning Switzerland’s first World Judo Tour event at this level into the starting point for an even bigger assignment two years from now.
