10 Best Visual Novels for Fans of Detective Novels

Visual novels, being, y’know, novels but visual, encompass quite a few different genres and styles of storytelling. There’s lots of drama, romance, comedy, and all that other good stuff. However, some of the best visual novels, at least in my humble opinion, are the mystery ones, and particularly those with a distinctly detective-y slant. I love a good detective novel, and adding a “figure-it-out-yourself” interactive element to one helps make a great mystery all the more engaging, more like you’re an active participant in piecing things together rather than just an onlooker.
