The setting is a hypothetical conversation between a mathematical physicist (A) and a higher being (B). B seeks to explain phenomena that they can comprehend while A cannot and he does so mathematically. For example, B says he can comprehend n dimensions of space and humans have cognizance of only a limited part of the space. B give the mathematics for this. A is satisfied with the mathematics but has no way to verify this physically. What I would like to know is whether B can do this for any phenomenon and if mathematics is universal/ powerful enough to do so. I ask this question because we often model physics with mathematical objects and mathematical consistency is key to such theories. I would like to know what people think about the limits of such mathematical modelling. A caveat to this question is if you believe that all universal phenomena are accessible to us in the same way they are to an ant. The ant can comprehend much less but it is nevertheless accessible. And I do believe accessible physics must atleast be possible to mathematically model. I would like your views on this as well.
