ICT4D Specialist (Value Chain for Northern Nigeria Programme) at Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security (FMAFS)

Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security (FMAFS) through its Federal Department of Development Partners Projects invites applications from suitable candidates to fill the position of: ICT4D Specialist (Value Chain for Northern Nigeria Programme). The position is located in Wuse 2, Abuja. The programme is aimed at improving incomes, food security and climate resilience among smallholder farmers and other value chain actors in nine Northern states. Interested candidates should possess a minimum of a Masters or higher-level university Degree in Information Technology and Management, Computer Science, ICTs in Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering, Data Science, Agriculture, or other relevant disciplines with a minimum of ten (10) minimum of ten (10) years of relevant professional experience, including at least seven (7) years in a similar role involving the design and implementation of digital solutions and platforms for agricultural development programmes, preferably funded by IFAD, the World Bank, AfDB, AFD or similar multilateral development organisations. Active membership in a recognized professional food and nutrition body is an added advantage.
