As a rising senior, Kamissoko still has one more season of high school basketball before he embarks on a collegiate career. Kamissoko posted on "X" that the nine schools that he plans on visiting over the course of the next few weeks are:Syracuse, Illinois, Baylor, Oklahoma State, Louisville, UConn, BYU, Virginia and Florida State. Kamissoko is scheduled to visit Central New York on Sept 3-4, which is two months before the start of the regular season. What would signing Kamissoko mean for Syracuse basketball? If the Orange can land Kamissoko, he would be the second commit for Syracuse in the Class of 2027. Earlier this summer, Syracuse gained a commitment from Jack Donahue. Donahue, a 6-foot-8 Albany product looks to be a strong outside shooter for future Orange teams. While Kamissoko is a high school product, the Orange will undoubtedly want to continue to blend high school recruits with those from the transfer portal.Other Syracuse basketball this week--A former Orange player will be representing Team USA in this upcoming international event. --Gerry McNamara along with multiple current members of the Orange roster will return to their former school this fall.
