Somewhere along Konoha’s history, one of its founding powers quietly vanished from the spotlight. The Senju Clan once stood at the heart of the shinobi world, producing legends such as Hashirama and Tobirama Senju and helping create the Hidden Leaf alongside their former Uchiha rivals. Yet by the era of Boruto, the Senju name has become almost a historical echo. Boruto has officially not introduced any new member of the Senju clan, indicating that the once mighty Konoha founding clan is heading towards extinction. Boruto Reveals How the Senju Clan’s Legacy Is Fading Away The Senju were not simply another powerful family in Naruto. Their alliance with the Uchiha created Konohagakure, ending generations of conflict between the two clans and establishing the foundation for the modern shinobi village system. Hashirama Senju became Konoha’s First Hokage, while his brother Tobirama became the Second and helped build many of the village’s defining institutions. Hashirama’s influence continued long after his death. His ideals shaped Konoha’s philosophy, while Tobirama’s innovations, including the Flying Raijin, later inherited by Minato, continued influencing shinobi generations. Her immense chakra reserves, physical strength, and Creation Rebirth technique allowed her to survive injuries that would destroy ordinary shinobi. However, Creation Rebirth itself is not a Senju-exclusive technique, so her abilities should not be presented as a clan bloodline ability. Rather, they demonstrate the exceptional physical resilience and chakra control associated with one of the Senju’s greatest descendants. The important distinction is that Tsunade is not definitively confirmed to be the last Senju alive. The manga simply has not identified another prominent living Senju descendant in the current era.
