Aces’ A’ja Wilson drops honest admission on competing for another championship

Las Vegas Aces star A’ja Wilson knows what it takes to defend a WNBA championship, having done so with the 2022 and 2023 titles. Speaking with Holly Rowe on SiriusXM NBA Radio, Wilson shares some insight on defending a title as she and her Aces teammates go for back-to-back championships once again. "When it comes to defending a championship… it really comes down to the little things."@_ajawilson22 tells @sportsiren what it will take for the Aces to successfully defend their title. As a three-time champion and four-time MVP, Wilson clearly knows what she is talking about. Speaking of MVP awards, Wilson will be going for her record-breaking fifth this season. She is considered one of the favorites for the award, leading the WNBA in points per game at 26.1, as well as having the Aces sit comfortably towards the top of the WNBA league standings at 18-8. As the WNBA heads into the second half of the season after the All-Star break, all eyes will be on Wilson and her pursuit of both another championship and MVP award. Given her track record, die-hard hooper fans might be hard-pressed to bet against Wilson and the Aces ending up on top once again.
