Is a 32 GB ipad usable for just some crochet stuff?

I have a 32 gb iPad I got as a gift several years ago. At some point I stopped using it and then was unable to even update the iOS because I couldn't open enough memory to access that. I'm into crocheting and am considering using a tablet of some sort to keep projects organized and accessible. I'm wondering if this iPad is usable for that. I'd just use the note app, maybe a couple crochet-related apps and browser. I wouldn't need iMessage. Maybe if I make a new Apple account for this so it's not syncing all my other stuff?
