One In Custody After Man is Stabbed Multiple Times in Chesapeake Beach

On Saturday, May 30, 2026, at approximately 8:30 p.m., police, firefighters and emergency medical services were dispatched to the Traders Seafood located at 8132 Bayside Road in Chesapeake Beach, for the reported stabbing. 911 callers reported an unknown aged male walked into the establishment reporting he was stabbed multiple times by a black male wearing a red shirt in a nearby field. Police quickly arrived in the area and located the suspect Crews located the victim suffering from multiple stab wounds along with lacerations and injuries to the abdomen, back, thigh and face. The patient was transported by ambulance to an area hospital. The assault investigation is ongoing and updates will be provided when they become available.
