Chesapeake Beach Pair Charged In Calvert Oxycodone Distribution Case
Shelly Marie Buzard, 60, of Chesapeake Beach, and Paul Marcello Holland, 66, of Chesapeake Beach, are facing charges in Calvert County after investigators say they distributed oxycodone as part of a months-long drug investigation. Court records list the same four charges for each defendant: distribution of a narcotic controlled dangerous substance, possession with intent to distribute a narcotic controlled dangerous substance, conspiracy to distribute a narcotic controlled dangerous substance, and conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute a narcotic controlled dangerous substance. According to court documents, the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office Drug Enforcement Unit began investigating Buzard during the winter of 2026 after receiving information that oxycodone was allegedly being distributed in Calvert County. Investigators wrote that Buzard and Holland both listed an Old Bayside Road address in Chesapeake Beach, and that Holland had vehicles registered to him, including a blue 2008 Toyota Sienna that investigators later reported seeing during surveillance. Police said that between February 1, 2026, and February 15, 2026, members of the Drug Enforcement Unit conducted a controlled purchase of oxycodone from Buzard and Holland in Calvert County.
