Thomas Massie (R-Ky.), a critic of Trump and a vocal proponent of releasing the Epstein files, in favor of MAGA-endorsed Ed Gallrein, a retired Navy SEAL who’s never held political office. The United Democracy Project, the American Israel Public Affairs Committee’s (AIPAC) affiliated super PAC, and the Republican Jewish Coalition Victory Fund helped clinch the upset after spending a collective $8 million to unseat Massie, who has opposed U.S. military aid to Israel and Trump’s war on Iran.🇮🇱 “Pro-Israel Americans are proud to back candidates who support a strong alliance and help defeat those who work to undermine it,” AIPAC posted in celebration of Massie’s defeat last night.🤑 Overall, outside PACs spent more than $25 million on the primary battle, including $7.5 million just from the billionaire-backed MAGA KY PAC.
