Bending issues

I know it could be weird to ask, but I’ve read many posts about this that I started to consider it.

Basically I want to buy an 11” iPad, right now opting for the Air, but I’m thinking of a Mini 7 because I will carry it in a small bag and I’d be afraid to bend it accidentally. I don’t think I would sit on it (afaik it’s the main cause), but it’ll be a considerable expense.

Have you ever bent an iPad (by accident ofc)?
